CSA Launches Nationwide Employee Headcount to Streamline Government Workforce

The Government of Liberia through the Civil Service Agency (CSA) has launched a Headcount exercise at the Central Offices of the 103 Spending Entities (SE). The headcount is part of Employee’s Status Regularization Project (ESRP) that is coordinated by Mr. Isaac G.F. Gorvego, the Director of the Research Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division of the CSA closely assisted by Mr. George Caine, IV, Director of the Internal Audit Agency assigned at the CSA.

 

The exercise is part of the employee regularization process that is intended to help the Agency identify legitimate government employees through physical headcount, collect data for missing fields in the Alternative Temporary Payment System (ATAPS) and Civil Management System (CSM). For example, National Identifications Number (NIR), their gender, employment letter, date of birth and highest credentials obtained.
Covering all one hundred and three (103) government spending entities, the exercise will last for about thirty (30) days across the country beginning June 2024.

 

The exercise commenced at the CSA and has covered Mines and Energy, Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA), Ministry of Education, National Center for the Coordination of Response Mechanism (NCCRM) and the following SEs are ongoing: Liberia Land Authority (LLA), Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), and Ministry of Public Works (MPW).
