𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲

Monrovia, Liberia – September 24, 2026: The Civil Service Agency (CSA) on Thursday, September 24, 2026, welcomed Rachel J. Louis, Associate Director of William College based in the United States to explore opportunities for advanced studies and professional development for Liberia’s public-sector workforce.

The engagement focused on a proposed Master’s Degree Program specifically designed for public-sector professionals. The approximately 10-month program would enable working professionals to pursue advanced academic and professional qualifications while continuing to serve in the public service.

During the meeting, Ms. Louis provided an overview of the proposed program, including plans for an initial cohort of approximately 26 participants, with the potential for increased enrollment in subsequent cohorts. The program is expected to build on participants’ bachelor’s-level education while also providing consideration for experienced professionals and selected exceptions based on relevant qualifications and professional experience.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director General for Administration and Finance, Atty. Dahnu Mianyen, Mr. Claudius Broderick, Director of the Career Management and Training Division and Mrs. Kumba Zotaa-Kiidii, Assistant Director for Training.

The discussions provided an opportunity for both CSA and William College to explore potential areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills and professional capacity of Liberia’s public-sector workforce.

The Civil Service Agency recognizes continuous learning and professional development as important component of building a capable, effective, and responsive civil service. The Agency will continue to explore partnerships and opportunities that can expand access to quality education and professional development for public-sector professionals.
