Monrovia, Liberia โ July 17, 2026 โ The Honorable Liberian Senate, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in its 41st Sitting, voted in majority to confirm Mr. Edwin K. Jallah as Deputy Director-General for Human Resource Management and Policy at the Civil Service Agency (CSA).
It followed a report from the Senate Committee on Autonomous Commissions and Agencies to plenary, recommending Mr. Jallahโs confirmation. The Committee is chaired by Hon. Crayton O. Duncan, Senator of Sinoe County.
Mr. Jallah was appointed on June 8, 2026, by His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, replacing Mr. Darlington A.P. Smith. Mr. Jallah is a seasoned Liberian public administrator and human resource management professional with nearly two decades of dedicated services at the Civil Service Agency.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to strengthening public sector administration, promoting integrity, institutional development, and the advancement of a professional and merit-based civil service.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Director-General for Human Resource Management and Policy, Mr. Jallah served in several middle โ senior level positions at the CSA, the latest being Director for General Administration, where he provided strategic leadership over the Agencyโs administrative and human resource operations.
In that role, he oversaw essential human resources advisory and support services, including facilities management, security, records and registry, logistics, and other administrative functions that ensured the effective and efficient operation of the Civil Service Agency.
His leadership contributed significantly to improving organizational systems and service delivery within the institution.
