Joint Payroll Management Team (CSA/MFDP) in collaboration with NASSCORP presents a One-Day Workshop on Social Security Deductions in Monrovia.

A one-day training workshop on social security deductions and benefits for all Government of Liberia spending entities is expected to take place this Monday, February 15, at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.
The workshop is organized by The Joint Payroll Management Team of the Civil Service Agency (CSA) and the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning (MFDP) in collaboration with the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP).
Over two hundred fifty (250) participants including Human Resource Personnel and Comptrollers from across 103 spending entities on the GoL centralized Payroll are expected to participate in the event.
The gathering is aimed at educating civil servants about the new social security law of 2017 including the age of retirement, eligibility for retirement notification of retirement, and pre-retirement counseling among others.
Facilitators at the training will also provide information on the expansion of social security to all spending entities of the newly harmonized pay structure currently affecting 103 spending entities, comprising over 65,000 employees.
At the close of the training, participants are anticipated to properly articulate the new pay format and social security deductions to employees of their respective entities.
Representatives from the Civil Service Agency, Ministry of Finance & Development Planning, and NASSCORP will facilitate the training.
