    Over 60 Government Spending Entities Received Training In Civil Service Human Resources Management System.
     
     
    More than sixty Government of Liberian Spending Entities have been trained and educated on to improve the Human Resources Management Systems of their various entities.
     
    Represented by their respective Human Resources Directors, the spending entities acquired knowledge and information on all employments and staff related activities within the Civil Service Agency.
     
    Emphasis was placed on the merit based recruitment policy, performance management system within the Government and the Civil Service Payroll Management Module (CSM), sexual harassment policy and steps on how to solve grievances within the Civil Service.
     
    "The Civil Service Agency (CSA), which was established in 1973, is responsible for ensuring that Merit-Oriented Human Resource Management Systems are applied throughout the Civil Service. The CSA is mandated at all time to guarantee that Civil Servants' rights are properly protected and that uniformed high standards of personnel administration are practiced in every Government Agency.
     
    Against this backdrop, the Government of Liberia mandated that all employment, recruitment and hiring activities be centralized through the Civil Service Agency (CSA). It is also this light that the CSA has organized and conducting several trainings across the Government" Hon. Laurine Wede Johnson, Director-General, Civil Service Agency asserted.
     
    The participants who are Human Resources Managers or Directors of their various spending entities have expressed genuine appreciation to the CSA for informing them on the HR process going forward.
     
    Several topics covered during training include, Public Sector Modernization Reforms, Employment Processes, Payroll Business Processes & Timeline, Performance Management Service Business Process Flow, Policy Research, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Disciplinary Measure & Sexual Harassment and the Civil Service Sanding Orders governing all Civil Servants across the Government.
     
    At least sixty (60) Spending Entities Human Resources Directors and their Deputies were targeted including the Office of the Vice President, Office of the Director-General of the General Services Agency (GSA), MICAT, MFA, LIPA, LCCC, LISGIS, BSE, MFDP, BCCC, TAB, NIR, NFAA, GGCCC, PCC, NAC, MPW, HC, CNDRA, LACE, CDA, SCCC, NBC, HRC, LRRRC, MOA, NDM, FDA, NIC, MOS, NCSA, FIU, MOT, MOH, MYS, MGCSP, MME, JUDICIARY, MOCI, NPHIL, IIC, Phebe Hospital,  MOPT       , WAEC, LNL, Jackson Doe Hospital, MOL, NCOD, MOE, CSA, MCSS, MOJ, MIA BWI, ZRTTI, WRITTI, KRITTI, BCCC, GBCCC
